Diaper free baby

Every mom wishes to help her child be diaper free as early as possible. I am sharing tips and tricks which worked for me to let my baby get diaper free!

I am sure the title of this blog post must have got you wondering – ‘Is it really possible to keep a baby diaper free?’ Usually, we start potty training from only 2 years onwards. This is possible with EC – Elimination Communication.

Elimination communication (EC) is a practice in which a caregiver uses timing, signals, cues, and intuition to address an infant’s need to eliminate waste. We moms have to follow our gut feelings here.

First, here is a list of some items you are going to need:

• Baby potty seat: Please note there is a difference in toddler seat and baby seat. Make sure you are buying as per your need.
• Clean underwear or bottom pants: You need extra underwear for baby to keep him clean and dry instantly.

• Cloth diapers: Buy cloth diapers with cute patterns and colors. The first key to potty-training babies is – to make them feel the wetness in their undies! This is possible only with cloth nappies (since commercial diapers absorb more pee and keep baby drier for longer lengths of time). Baby will feel wet and understand the need to communicate and start responding to his bodily rhythm.

• Waterproof sheet and mattress: You can use waterproof sheets in small and large size. Small for baby cribs and stroller, large for a baby bed. This will save your bed from uninvited accidents.

Ready? Here are 5 tricks which worked for me to keep my baby diaper free as per my experience. I hope they work for you too!

1. Follow Signs and Signals

Babies, right from birth, start giving signals
