Buying Good and Safe products for my kids is always on priority . While searching a nice shampoo I came to know about L’oreal Kids Shampoo. No doubt, Loreal is a big brand and trusted in terms of hair care products . Loreal is a French cosmetic company and is in the market since 1909. I checked the pack it was not too pricey and the bottle looked cute. So here I am sharing Mommy’s review for L’oreal Kids Shampoo with you today.

L'oreal Kids Shampoo

Loreal Kids Shampoo Review by Themommytale

L’oreal Kids Shampoo is available in following variants.
1. Strawberry
2. Lavender
3. Mango
4. Cherry

So I picked up two variants here Strawberry and Lavender

1. Strawberry Shampoo: Very Berry Strawberry Shampoo

Price:499/- Rs.

Available @

Direction to use:

Squeeze a burst on your palm, apply on wet hair, Lather up, rinse and wash.

My take on the product:

The very berry Strawberry L’oreal Kids Shampoo has a lovely fruity smell. L’oreal Kids Shampoo claims, No tears, No knots formulation leaves hair soft as cotton candy. Ok, so the packing is really nice and I washed my hair and my daughter’s hair. Yes, It gives you a good wash the fruity smell is a bit strong though. I think Loreal needs to rework on the formulation to make it 100% tearless or no tears shampoo. But, What I looked about the L’oreal Kids Shampoo is that yes the hair gets fewer knots for sure. It makes the texture of hair soft and smooth.
PS: There is no claim that this is 100% natural or Safe for kids

Rating – 3 / 5

2. Lavender Shampoo: Soothing Lavender Shampoo

Price: 495/-Rs.
Available @

Direction to use:

Squeeze a burst on your palm, apply on wet hair, Lather up, rinse and wash.

My take on the product:

The Soothing Lavender L’oreal Kids Shampoo again has a lovely fruity smell. L’oreal Kids Shampoo claims, No tears, No knots formulation best for bedtime head wash. Ok so the packing is cute and I washed hair and used this variant as well. Yes, It again gives you a good wash the fruity smell is a bit strong though. I think Loreal needs to rework on the formulation to make it 100% tearless or no tear shampoo. This makes hair smooth as well.

PS: There is no claim that this is 100% natural or Safe for kids

Rating – 3 / 5

These colourful shampoos looks so attractive. I always heard about Jonson’s baby shampoo. And using that only for my kids. But this loreal shampoo for kids looks so great. Loreal is a good brand and thats why i can trust it easily. Will try this soon.

L’Oreal is quite a reputed brand. I have been using it for myself but never tried on my kids. Is it suitable for kids as young as one year? I would really wanna give it a try if it is.

Interesting! I had no idea that they had a line of children’s shampoo. Cute packaging, for sure. A bit of a bummer that the smell is so strong. Definitely prefer milder with my kiddos.

I would be interested in using this for my son if it was truly tear free… I’ve had a hard time finding anything that works for us that is rear free except Johnson and Johnson.

Not a tearless shampoo and no safety meters for kids I think that makes it average product like you said and review it so honestly very helpful

Though the pricing is almost equal to its popular counterparts but safety is a matter of great concern for me when it comes to selecting a baby product. I don’t think I will go for this.
