I keep exploring the ways and activities to engage my kids once they are back from school. Work schedule, School Homework, Household chores leave very little time for me to spend with my child. Sometimes I think it’s with everyone we all are running the same race. I have to keep activities ready and plan them on every month basis to engage my child in her free time at home and where we can spend some time together. So, that during house hold chore or trying to meet client’s deadline I am assured she is learning and having fun at the same time. I never wish my child to keep watching TV all the time or play games on the Tab. So I planned some activity based learning or play based learning and fun activities with her. Today, I am sharing a play based learning activity Magic Joey which not only support my child in terms of engagement But, she also learns and is great for enhancing her skills.

The Book is very well designed and researched. It has learning activity as well as fun time activity. The Focus of the book is on age group of 3 to 8 years. My daughter just loved the book and she immediately started the colouring activity. The Book is planned in two parts. Learning Part – Here the activity and description regarding jungle Animal given in details.

Fun Activity Part – Here the kids have to colour the animal with their own creativity. So Me and my daughter, we started from learning part which has the reading section all related information regarding the animal followed by the dot matching activity. Reading the facts about the animals was so facinating and my daughter throughly enjoyed like a story. Post that we begin with fun part, coloring the animal. She loves this part the most and I left her with book and she took good time bringing her creativity to the book. Once we completed the first activity we headed towards the thrilling and amazing part of this activity – Using the Magic Joey App.

And Unlike other Application Based augmented reality product the screen time is comparatively less. As most of the time goes in coloring and reading activity. My daughter loved it and I would highly recommend it to all the parents.I personally feel such learning activities are best to keep kids engage and to keep them away from watching cartoons on weekends or once they are back home from school.

Overall Family Experience with Magic Joey
We enjoyed the concept. We loved sitting together and exploring the new way of learning. Oh boy! Look at all these goodies kids get to play with! Back on my day(which does make me feel old) we had ludo and other board games plus a BIG playgroud in the neighbourhood that we used to play in till sunset- and children these days just dont enjoy that-
