7 years before we celebrated our daughter’s first Children’s day . As a parent, we gifted her a lovely teddy bear and she was not even a year old that time. I and my husband loved kids and we had huge plans before planning our child. We love spending time with our daughter a lot. I feel the closeness in thoughts and I see my childhood with her and when she asks “Mumma did you played badminton in your childhood or did you ever took off just like that from school”?. I just smile and answer her questions. “Yes, I played badminton and I did take off from my school just like that 🙂 “. Every Year on 14th November we celebrate Children’s day to educate people and create awareness towards child rights and education for children of our country.

Children's day

How I planned Children’s day for my daughter.

Children’s day is really important for me. I always plan it with a good enthusiasm and love for my kids while they enjoy it with equal enthusiasm. So this year I planned Children’s day in a fun filled full day for both my kids.

To give my undivided attention to my kids I and my husband have taken leave for the day wherein we will do everything that our kids want to do. We planned this day by keeping my daughters interest in mind as my son is quite young to get his demands fulfilled. She is an outgoing person and loves to spend her time playing in fun zones, doing window shopping with us, eating at her favorite food joint and much more.

So here is how I planned Children’s day for my daughter this year.

Visit to nearby themed park this Children’s Day

We will begin our day with some good play time. She loves playing in a park . Swings and slides the most. I think kids at this age love to spend time in the open area the most and they enjoy the nature, air, watching butterfly and swings.

Lunch at Pizza Corner

Usually, she is a well-disciplined child and doesn’t demand much. But Children’s day is dedicated to kids we shall take the kids to their favorite place and treat them to yummy food and icecreams to make them happy.

Gifting her some fashion

For every mother and father, their daughter is no less than a princess hence we plan to buy a beautiful princes’ style dress for her and a cute little barbie doll, I mean for our doll.

NGO visit

While we make our children’s day special we do want to fulfill the desire and small little dreams of kids at an NGO that we visit regularly. There are lots of kids who do not have parents and are staying at this NGO.

We plan to distribute few Cadbury chocolates, stationery items and day today grocery items required by these kids.

Fun Zone

A day without visiting fun zone will not complete our celebration so last but not least to make our kids feel special and loved we would close our day with an hour filled with fun and masti at the play zone near our house.

From bungee jumping, defeating monkeys, picking the favorite toy to defeating her father in a racing car, we will ensure that our kids have lots of fun.

With this celebration we wanted to showcase our kids that they are precious and are loved a lot by their parents and happiness is everywhere and in small little things. Sharing happiness will add on to more happiness.
Happy Children’s day!

I am all set to become a child again are you ! lets become a child again and enjoy this Children’s day with our kids the most.

Do share with us how do you plan to celebrate this Children’s Day with your kids, we would be all ears!

This was a sweet post. I am not sure what Children’s day is though. Perhaps it is a cultural difference. I do know what an NGO is and I think it is fantastic that you went to visit. It is sad to think how many children in the world don’t have parents to care for them.
