With the changing time Kids activities, Toys and Fun activities are changing with the equal speed. A major evolution has happened in Toy, learning and structured Play activities. This is a need of an hour to introduce an innovative learning practice. The present Android generation has ample learning applications available. Recently, when Play Shifu team contacted me for review I learned about the concept of Augmented Reality .

Lets First understand the concept behind Play Shifu – Augmented Reality:

Augmented Reality features were first discovered in 1990 to give an interface between real life and cyber world. Augmented Reality bridge computer-generated sensory inputs and supplement it live direct and indirect view in the Real world. So, In short, it gives you a real time 3 D image and video to make it user-friendly and user interactive. There are many other examples exist Like Play Shifu which is based on Augmented Reality they are PokemonG, ZombieGo, and Ingress.

PlayShifu or Shifu games are designed by experts involves Parents and early childhood experts.The Focus is kept on the development of Cognitive skills and imagination through real world knowledge. It’s a combination of visual learning and Kinesthetic learning.

A set of 60 cards:

Each card has a picture in front and definition or meaning in the rear. Each card is so beautifully and iteratively designed that my children just loved it. The color and design were just perfect.

A cloth Pouch:

So after completing 20 cards we took a break and here the pouch helped us we added 20 cards in the same.So that rest 40 can be covered later. As well as while our travel during summer break we took cards and stand in the pouch and it was super handy to carry.

Stand:

Each Box has Phone or tablet stand. Which helps you to keep the screen intact. I was able to keep my Phone safe as well because of this stand.

So as you open the box on the left side all the instructions clearly mention. Sharing few steps here.
1. Download the app from Play store.
2. Then scan the QR code or enter the written number manually.
3. Launch the App and start playing.
Isn’t that simple.

This box has 60 cards based on the theme of Travel. Road travel, Water Travel, and Air travel. This is a super easy way to make your child learn all spellings and explore the world of Travelling on just one finger touch.

Box 2. Shifu Jobs

This box has 60 cards based on the theme of Jobs people do, Occupation. This is a great way to make your child learn about different real life work a person can do.
I really loved the concept personally it is very well researched and designed and it is age appropriate for 2 to 10 years. This is super easy to learn after showing one activity kids became comfortable. It’s user-friendly and there is no need to hold the Screen of Tablet or Phone all the time in hand you can fix it at one place and start watching.

I would highly recommend the Play Shifu box to all the parents. This is a really fun way of Learning.
This is Pocket-friendly as well. INR 749 for the box (60 cards) and INR 299 for the smaller variants (20 cards). Such a lovely gift for kids on all occasions.
