A mother not letting her son spend time with his newlywed wife. Husband and wife seeking to spend time with each other but failing to do so. The mother in law barging in all the time giving some task to the daughter in law or asking her son to do something outside the house. Situations like these are not uncommon in daily soaps on television. Indeed, they are not uncommon even in real life. The mother in law is often portrayed as Lady Hitler. Why does she not allow her son to stay close to his wife?
